Data Deletion
The short version
- Email privacy@forkrado.com with the subject "Delete my data". That's all it takes.
- We confirm within 3 business days and finish deletion within 30 days.
- Disconnecting Google, Facebook or Instagram removes our access right away.
- We keep only what the law requires, such as billing records.
1. How to request deletion
- Email privacy@forkrado.com from the email address on your account, with the subject line Delete my data. If you don't have an account, use the email or phone number you gave us.
- Tell us the restaurant or account name, and whether you want everything deleted or only certain data, such as a connected platform or your lead form details.
- We may ask you to confirm the request from that same email or phone number, so we only delete data for the right person.
- We email you when deletion is complete.
You can also call or text (720) 900-5320, 7 days a week, and we will start the request for you.
2. Disconnect a platform yourself
You can remove Forkrado's access to any connected platform at any time. Disconnecting stops all access immediately and deletes the stored access tokens and cached data for that platform.
- In Forkrado Studio: go to Connections and choose Disconnect next to the platform.
- Google Business Profile: remove Forkrado as a manager on your profile, or remove Forkrado's access in your Google Account under Security, Third-party apps and services.
- Clover, Square and Stripe: uninstall or disconnect the Forkrado app in that provider's dashboard.
3. Facebook and Instagram data deletion
If you connected a Facebook Page or Instagram account to Forkrado and want that data deleted:
- On Facebook, go to Settings and privacy, then Settings, then Apps and websites (in some versions, Business integrations).
- Find Forkrado and choose Remove. This revokes our access to your Page and Instagram account.
- Email privacy@forkrado.com with the subject Delete my Meta data so we also delete anything we stored, such as Page IDs, account names, scheduled posts and access tokens.
When Meta notifies us that you removed Forkrado, we delete your Meta data automatically and you can check the status of the request by contacting us with the confirmation code we provide.
4. What we delete
- Your account profile and login details.
- Business information you entered: menu, hours, campaigns, drafts and settings.
- Data copied from connected platforms: listing details, reviews, posts, analytics and access tokens.
- Customer lists and guest contact details stored in your workspace.
- Lead form details from forkrado.com, such as your restaurant name, email and phone number.
- AI-generated drafts and images stored in your workspace.
Content already published on Google, Facebook or Instagram lives on those platforms. Deleting your Forkrado data does not remove published posts or replies. You can remove them directly on each platform, or ask us to remove them before you disconnect.
5. What we keep, and why
| Data | Why we keep it | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Invoices and billing records | Tax and accounting law | 7 years |
| Payment records held by Stripe | Stripe's own legal obligations, under Stripe's policies | Set by Stripe |
| SMS opt-out records | So we never text a number that opted out | As long as required |
| Encrypted backups | Disaster recovery. Deleted data ages out automatically | Up to 35 days |
6. If you are a guest of a restaurant
If you ordered from, or received messages from, a restaurant that uses Forkrado, that restaurant controls your data. Contact the restaurant first. You can also email privacy@forkrado.com and we will pass your request to the restaurant and help it respond. To stop text messages right away, reply STOP to any message.
7. Timeline
| Step | When |
|---|---|
| Platform access removed after you disconnect | Immediately |
| We confirm your emailed request | Within 3 business days |
| Deletion completed from active systems | Within 30 days |
| Deleted data gone from backups | Within 35 more days |
